Knit for a Cause
Secondary School students knit items that are donated to people in need in our community. Knitting instructions and supplies are provided. Beginners welcome.
Volunteer Qualifications
- Ages 14-18 (in high school)
- Good listening skills
- Patience
- Interested in and committed to learning a new skill
- Work well in a group setting
Volunteer Responsibilities
- Follow instructions and advice as given
- Perform the task to the best of your ability
- Practice communication skills
- Sign in at each session
- Return materials/projects to the bin at the end of each session

Program Locations
- Dundas Branch - Wednesdays 3-4pm (Sept 9)
- Kenilworth Branch - Wednesdays 3-5pm
- Saltfleet Branch - Thursdays 3-4pm (Sept 10)
- Terryberry Branch - 3rd Monday of each month, 3:30-4:30pm (Sept 21)
