Knit for a Cause

Secondary School students knit items that are donated to people in need in our community. Knitting instructions and supplies are provided. Beginners welcome.

Volunteer Qualifications

• Ages 14-18 (in high school)
• Good listening skills
• Patience
• Interested in and committed to learning a new skill
• Work well in a group setting 

Volunteer Responsibilities

• Follow instructions and advice as given
• Perform the task to the best of your ability 
• Practice communication skills
• Sign in at each session 
• Return materials/projects to the bin at the end of each session

Program Locations

• Dundas Branch - Wednesdays 3-4pm (Sept 9)
• Kenilworth Branch - Wednesdays 3-5pm
• Saltfleet Branch - Thursdays 3-4pm (Sept 10)
• Terryberry Branch - 3rd Monday of each month, 3:30-4:30pm (Sept 21)
